Let’s take a hop, skip, and a jump to just a few years ago when we had a gentleman hit 3 straight Homers in a single game. If you add his Home Run in the previous game, it made it 4 straight at-bats with a Home Run! We’re talking Jimmie Foxx!

On this day in 1933, Jimmie pulled off a miracle! he accomplished this feat as Philadelphia beat the New York Yankees 14-10!

Glue OTD: Junior Alvarado!

Yesterday was the Belmont Stakes, the third of the big three races in Horse Racing. The big names have been Sovereignty and Journalism all racing season, but what about JUNIOR! What about Junior Alvarado?

Junior and Sovereignty won the 157th Belmont Stakes yesterday, their second big race of the year. They have now won the Kentucky Derby and now the Belmont Stakes, and the first horse to win both while also skipping the Preakness.

Fun little blip for you, it was Journalism who won the Preakness, because of the fact that Sovereignty wasn’t in it perhaps.

Despite all this horse talk, I want some focus on the Jockey, because those guys are glue! Junior Alvarado, I’m looking at you.

🎾🏆️ Coco Gauff Wins French Open!

The Stump Short Story: Yesterday Coco Gauff posted on her Instagram story a screenshot of her notes page from 2021. She wrote that she had a dream that had won the French Open. Well, that dream became a reality yesterdya when she won in three sets against (1) Aryna Sabalenka.

Why it Matters: The (2) ranked Gauff now claims her second major, and has set the stage for Wimbledon and the U.S. Open later this year. The top of the women’s standings have some absolute beasts! This will be a fun era of tennis to watch for sure!
