🐯 Oh no, Tiger…

It was on this day in 2021, that the golf world would be shaken to its core. Tiger Woods, golf’s greatest player and most famous individual, was involved in a single-car crash that derailed his golf career.

To this day, Tiger still deals with the injuries from the car crash. Tiger suffered comminuted open fractures to the upper and lower sections of his leg, as well as significant trauma to his right angle. It’s so amazing that Tiger even still steps on the course to play. Enjoy it while it lasts.

🏀 Gregg Popovich Not Expected to Return This Season

What to know: Early in November Spurs head coach and all-around legend Gregg Popovich suffered a mild stroke and was sidelined from the team. His timetable to return was uncertain but now more news has come out.

It was announced yesterday that the Spurs would be without their head coach for the remainder of the season after not yet fully recovering. The NBA’s regular season win leader (1,412) is a joy to watch on the sideline, on the podium, and in the huddle, and to see this is quite sad.

The Spurs just lost Victor Wembanyama for the year, and now this news is not calming for the team. Mitch Johnson will continue to assume the head coaching roles on an interim postiton.

Prayers up to Coach Pop and hoping for a full recovery! Hopefully, we can see him on the sideline to start the 2025-26 season!

🏈 Rams Allow Stafford to Shop Around!

What to know: The LA Rams are allowing Matthew Stafford to to talk to other teams this offseason, could we have just seen the end of Stafford in LA?

It’s crazy to think that just 5 years ago, Stafford had still been a lifelong Lion, a QB plagued by the stat of 0 career playoff wins. It’s safe to say the trade to LA helped cement his legacy as one of the best QBs of his generation. The generation between Brady and Manning, and then the young guns.

When he finally got a group of weapons around, we say what they did in their first year together: win a Super Bowl. It was interesting to see what Stafford does as it seems he has built himself quite a life in LA. It’s hard to imagine the Rams to blow it all up, especially after being really the only team in the postseason to put up a reasonable fight against the Super Bowl Champion Eagles.

Stafford was driving in the snow in their divisional round matchup, and had it not been for snow, who knows what would have happened there? The duo of Nakua and Kupp is still a deadly one-two punch and as long as those three are there, they will always be dangerous. We’ll see what happens with Stafford as this will be an interesting storyline to follow.
