If you said GLUE GUY you know us too well! The second greatest two words are Game Seven! And we’ve got one of those today! The NBA Finals will come to an end, hopefully in dramatic fashion! We’ve got Sunday at the Travelers as well! Let’s dive into it all!

In the spirit of Game Seven’s in the NBA Finals, let’s take a look back at one from the 90s!
On this day in 1994, the 48th NBA Championship concluded in a Game Seven! it was the Houston Rockets and the New York Knicks who faced off. The Rockets got the win 90-84, and it Hakeem Olajuwon with 25 points, 10 rebounds, and 7 assists, who led the way for the Rockets! We have a Game Seven tonight!

Yesterday’s Trivia Answer: D. 10! There have been 10 teams that have never won an NBA Championship! The latest team to get off this list was the Denver Nuggets in 2023. The Pacers look to make that number 9 tonight!

A month ago the possibilities were endless! The Celtics were looking to go back-to-back! The Luka and LeBron duo were poised to make a run, the Knicks were on fire, the Stump admin teams (Nuggets and Cavs) had promise, a lot could have happened.
What did we get? We got Thunder-Pacers in the NBA Finals.
I’ll tell you what. This series has been unbelievable. From Game 1, when Tyrese Haliburton hit an unreal shot (AGAIN) to shock the Thunder in their own building, this series has been awesome.
Their has been so much glue in this series that a book could be written on it. TJ McConnell is one of my favorite players in the league now, and guys like Alex Caruso, Cason Wallace, Obi Tobbin, and really every other guy who touches the floor is glue first!
We have a Game Seven tonight, and we are bound to have GLUE.

⛳️ Sunday Preview at the Travelers!
The Stump Short Story: We had a flurry of low rounds yesterday, as well as some shocking blowups! This all boils down to one day of golf at the Travelers Championship! Scottie Scheffler was tied at -9 to start the day with the lead. An opening hole TRIPLE BOGEY was not what the doctor ordered! He tried to recover the best he could, but he never quite got back to himself. There is a big story at the top, and that is Tommy Fleetwood! Leading by 3 strokes, Tommy looks for his long coveted first win on tour!
Why it Matters: Fleetwood has the most Top 10 finishes since 1984 without a PGA TOUR win! It won’t be easy, there isn’t anything like leading heading into Sunday, but could this be the day for Fleetwood! Rooting for it, we’ll see what happens!

🥊 Jon Jones Retires From UFC
The Stump Short Story: One of the greatest in mixed martial arts history took to X yesterday to announce his retirement from the UFC. Jones began his MMA career. in 2008. He became the youngest heavyweight champion in promotion history at the age of 23. He has been one of the great and in his last fight in November of 2023, he defended his heavyweight title with a third round TKO against Stipe Miocic.
Why it Matters: The fans really wanted to see a bout between Jones and Tom Aspinall, but it looks like that will never happen. Aspinall has been named the Heavyweight Champion by Dana White in a press conference yesterday afternoon.
