🇨🇼 In 2026, we will have the World Cup in the United States, Canada, and Mexico. The most exciting time in Soccer. This past week, with a 0-0 draw against Jamaica, Curaçao became the smallest nation ever to qualify for the World Cup. A nation of only 150,000 people, they have now punched their ticket to one of the biggest competitions in the world! Here’s a vid of their celebration, pretty cool to see!
🏈 TNF last night! The Texans showed why they have the #1 defense in the league! Statement win over the Bills, 23-19!
🏀 Tyrese Maxey. My goodness. We all know he’s great, but is he the brightest young star in the league? He’s certainly in the conversation! In an OT win against the Bucks, he ended with 54 points, 9 assists, and 4 rebounds! WOW! Philly moves to 9-6.
🦁 Not great news for Detroit! It has come out that TE Sam LaPorta may be out for the season after a back injury.
🟠 Joe. Brrr. The Bengals still have not announced a starter for this week’s game against the 9-2 Patriots, but Joe Burrow was officially a participant in practice this week! What a late-season push this could be for Cincy! It would all start with a massive win this Sunday.
🗽 The NY Liberty are set to hire Warriors assistant coach Chris DeMarco to be their next head coach. DeMarco has been with GSW since 2012, and his been part of 4 championship runs!

❓ After some trade rumors came out about LaMelo Ball and the Hornets, LaMelo has come out and said that those reports were false. The Hornets are 4-11 right now, but they really have the makings of a good young squad. If they can piece together some wins, there’s no reason they can’t sneak into the playoff picture in the East.
🏒 What seems like a weekly Alexander Ovechkin update. With his 1,642nd point in the NHL, he passed Joe Sakic to become 10th all-time on the NHL’s point list!
📺 The NBA announced that they have seen the highest-ever opening-month viewership this season, with over 60 million views. It’s crazy with all the different channels they have deals with now, but still, maybe they’ve got something going! It’s been a fun start to the NBA season for sure!
🔴 Earlier this week it was announced that Michael Penix Jr. would need surgery on his partially torn ACL. It will be Kirk Cousins the rest of the way to try and lead the Falcons to a Wild Card spot!
🟠 More QB news, this week, Shadeur Sanders will get his. 1st career start vs the Raiders. It seems like an ideal situation, where a win against a lowly Raiders team could start some buzz, whether he is the guy or not. Will be interesting to keep an eye on.
