Three words for you. FOOTBALL IS SO BACK. So fired up we can’t even count anymore! We’ve got an AFC Showdown tonight with the Ravens heading to Arrowhead! Besides that, we’ve got some big-time semifinal matchups at the US Open, a quiet MLB day, and Argentina soccer in action as well! A lot going on. Did the Broncos just name Bo Nix their Captain?!?!?

🏈 Will Opening Day History Repeat Itself?
Last year fresh off a Super Bowl win, the Chiefs welcomed the Detroit Lions to town. The upstart Lions shocked the world and beat the Chiefs in Arrowhead! Makes a little bit of sense. The Chiefs have never been the best regular-season team.
Well now we’ve got Vol. 2, except they welcome in one of their AFC rivals, the Baltimore Ravens. It’s an interesting matchup for a few reasons. First off it’s a rematch of the AFC Championship from 8 months ago. Secondly, we’ve got KING HENRY wearing purple which is going to take a second for the eyes.
The Ravens recently have been the Kings of the regular season and the Chiefs seem to take it a little more easy. Despite being the underdog, the Ravens winning this one wouldn’t be a shocker, but at the same time, I don’t think it would prove their legitimacy either.
Just the fact that we can preview a game like this is phenomenal! What a time to be alive!

🎾 USA FRENZY continues at the US Open with Jessica Pegula!
Between the Men’s and Women’s semifinal matchups in the US Open, there are FOUR Americans in it. Yesterday No. 6 Jessica Pegula STUMPSET World No. 1 Iga Swiatek in two sets! She will now face unranked Karolina Muchova with a chance to make her first Grand Slam Final.
On the other side of the Women’s bracket, we have No. 13 Emma Navarro who will also have a shot of making her first Grand Slam final! Both matches are tonight! We are in for a great finish at the US Open!

Back against the wall, more haters than you can count, your name being thrown around with the word overrated. What else can you say about #17.
I’m biased I’m a Bills fan, but when I saw this video from Kyle Brandt Yesterday I ran through a brick wall.
He picked his MVP and he went with Josh Allen! The season starts today and two other MVP candidates in Patrick Mahomes and Lamar Jackson take the field, let’s see what they start the year with!

🏈 Broncos Extend One and Name Another Captain!
Yesterday Broncos CB Pat Surtain became the highest-paid DB in NFL history! He signed a 4-year extension worth $96 Million with $77.5 Million guaranteed! That’s a lot of dough! Not only did the Broncos make a huge move on the defensive side of the ball, but they made one of the offensive side as well.
This other move however did not cost $96 Million. The Broncos named their rookie quarterback Bo Nix as a team captain. He is the first rookie to be named captain for the team since 1967!
A new age for the Denver Broncos starts on Sunday!
