🏌️♀️ Sorenstam Makes PGA Tour Debut

It was 58 years between a woman making an appearance on the PGA Tour alongside the man. That was a bit too long for Annika Sorenstam’s liking.
On this day in 2003, Annika Sorenstam teed it up alongside the men at the Bank of America Colonial. It was a historic day, as Sorenstam played quite well, but a critical three-putt bogey led to her finishing with a score of +1 on the day. While she did miss the cut, she inspired so many little girls to take up the game of golf and show that woman can compete against the men.

🍿 Pacers Do The UNTHINKABLE…AGAIN!

The NBA Postseason has already given us some unbelievable moments this past month. What we saw yesterday was maybe the most shocking of them all. Not sure why as we’ve already seen the same team do this three times now. Knicks fans keep scrolling.
What. The. Flip.
Right from the opening tip this thing shaped up to be an absolute SHOOTOUT! The Pacers started 7/7 from the field and the Knicks were hot as well. Last year this series was all about offense. One year later and it looked as if neither team had missed a beat. After 1 the Knicks led 36-34, and at the half they were still up 69-62.
We can fast forward this one to late in the fourth quarter. Brunson picked up his fifth foul, the Knicks proceeded to go on a 10-0 run, and everything was on cruise control. The Knicks were suddenly up 14 with 3 to play, their ESPN Win Probability was 99.7%, and it was all but written that they would take Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals! What a time to be alive in New York.
…
No. Nothing of the sort. Aaron Nesmith hit not two, not three, NOT FOUR, BUT FIVE STRAIGHT THREES with under 4 to play to bring the Pacers to within 4. It was as if the powers of the greatest shooters in the world were bestowed upon him for a 4 minute stretch. This followed by the free throw game, when OG and KAT each missed a critical one. This combined with a turnover turned in into a 2 point game with 13 seconds to play. The Pacers had the ball. You could hear a pin drop at the Garden.
Tyrese Haliburton, the one labeled the most overrated player in the league, as already hit an unbelievable shot in each of his first two series’, hit one that made those first two look EASY! Take a look at this! It very well was a big toe away from being one of the coldest game-winners in recent postseason memory, and would’ve most certainly been the biggest one since Kawhi’s against the 76ers.
He instead tied, it took it to OT, which again features absolute HAYMAKERS being throw by each team. It ended with a fingertip out of bounds by the Knicks, followed by two missed threes, one by Jalen Brunson and one by KAT to tie the game.
The Pacers came into the Garden, stared a 99.7% win prob for the Knicks, and broke the hearts of millions! This team is un. real.
Pacers def. Knicks in OT, 138-135 (IND leads series 1-0)
The Hot Stove

🏀 SGA is Your League MVP!
Can’t say this one is too much of a shock. It became more and more prevelant in recent weeks that SGA had pulled away from Nikola Jokic and was going to win his first MVP. Despite a great supporting cast, he was putting up unbelieavble numbers all year for the best team in the league. He was playing both sides of the ball, and led the league in scoring. The trajectory of his career changed the day he was traded from the Clippers to the Thunder, in exchange for Paul George, and he has never looked back. The Thunder now are in the drivers seat to win an NBA Championship this year, and they could do it after a historic season for their young Superstar! Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is your 2024-25 NBA MVP!
🏈 Tush-Push Lives
The league was just two votes away from this move being banned! WOW!
The vote ended 22-10, and it was 24 votes that were needed in order to ban the Eagles Tush Push. I can’t remember the last time a play was so overpowered that it created this type of uproar. Well, they tried, and they failed, by just two votes. The Tush Push will be here to stay at least for the 2025 season, and the Eagles will no doubt be going back to it on ‘& Inches’ situations all over the field. The Packers, who initiated this movement, will be facing the Eagles Week 10 on Monday Night Football. There is a 0% chance the Eagles don’t score a TD off of that play. ZERO!
🏈 Colts Owner Jim Irsay Dies at 65
It came out that Colts Owener and CEO Jim Irsay passed away in his sleep Wednesday afternoon. If you had seen any of his interviews on the Pat Mcafee Show, you knew how electric of a man this was. He was always overly generoud when it came to the Colts, and to the state of Indiana as a whole! At just 24 years old, Irsay became the youngest GM in the NFL in 1984 when he took over the role for the Colts. Highly recommend checking out some of his interviews on the Pat Mcafee show! Rest In Peace, Jim Irsay!
