Hall-of-Famer Jimmie Foxx hit for the cycle and set an American League single-game record with 9 runs batted in (RBI). Foxx did so as a member of the Philadelphia Athletics.

Foxx finished his career as a 3 time MVP, a 9 time All-Star, and 2 time World Series Champion.

Teams from all over the world will converge on Williamsport, PA today as the worlds largest youth sports tournament gets rolling!
