After making the move for one of the best young stars in baseball, the New York Yankees confirmed they are putting all their chips in…

It shouldn’t surprise anyone that the New York Yankees are willing to move considerable capital to better position themselves for a World Series run. This season, it has come in the form of 2022 MLB All-Star Jazz Chisholm. Jazz, who is arguably one of the most electrifying and entertaining players in all of the MLB, has officially changed from Miami Marlins grey to New York Yankees pinstripes.

The Yankees roster is now stacked with really talented players. Judge and Soto are arguably the two best players in all of baseball, not named Ohtani, and make for one of the most formidable one-two punches in all of baseball. The one true weakness in the lineup came in the form of the leadoff hitter, a role that will be now filled by one of the best in the business, Jazz Chisholm.

The Yankees are close to getting back Giancarlo Stanton, one of the best power hitters in the history of baseball, and will pair him and Jazz with some of the best in the league.

Beyond this, the Yankees are working hard to sure up their pitching rotation and bullpen. With one of two more moves, it would be hard to look at the roster and say this isn’t the most talented and World Series ready lineups in all of the MLB.

The biggest problem for the Yanks as of late has been their ability to defeat top tier opponents. I’m not referring to just this year, either, the Yanks under Boone have struggled at times, and haven’t exactly been the postseason bandwagon that Yankee fans are used to in years past.

The window is closing in New York for the chance at a World Series, and it seems like the front office knows it.

Judge is aging, Soto is up for a new contract, and they have a bunch of young players, Jazz now included, who are going to be worthy of big time extensions. Extensions that the team may not be able to afford.

It’s not secret that the New York Yankees aren’t afraid to go all in, but it seems like this may be a last ditch effort before the front office does something drastic.
