A great slate of college ball yesterday flows right into NFL Sunday! We had STUMPSETS of (3) Georgia and (4) Miami both yesterday! Alabama also beat the breaks off of LSU in a highly anticipated matchup in Death Valley! The Cavs brought their win streak to 11, and the Winnipeg Jets are also making history at the start of their 2024 Campaign! A lot to discuss today!

♟️ OH BOY! We’re talking Chess today! On this day in 1985, Russia’s Garry Kasparov became the youngest World Chess Champion at the age of 22! He won with a win over fellow countryman Anatoly Karpov.
Kasparov is still regarded as one of the greatest Chess players of all time!

🏈 Jayden, Meet Russell!
Today, the 6-2 Pittsburgh Steelers travel to Landover to take on the 7-2 Washington Commanders. If you said those two teams had these records at this point you’d be lying to yourself!
Who would have thought that a Week 10 matchup between the Steelers and Commanders would be one of the most interesting matchups of the month? The Commanders are led by their electrifying rookie QB Jayden Daniels. He had lit the league on fire and is doing things you don’t see from ordinary rookies.
He’s making plays with his legs, using his cannon of an arm, and leading his small market team to stardom in the NFC. Can’t help but remind me of a guy who used to play in Seattle!
In his rookie year, Russ went 11-5 and threw for 26 TDs, which was a rookie record at the time! He took the league by storm and became the face of the NFC for almost a decade. He now gets to face off against his old self in Daniels.
Coming into the season, rookie-wise, all talks were on Caleb Williams. The only talks about Russ were his health and how he should stay on the bench in favor of Justin Fields.
Now the narrative has been flipped on his head! These two teams are near the top of their conference standings and are still not being talked about enough. It’s hard to win games in the NFL and no matter how they do that, these guys are winning.
The Steelers and Mike Tomlin have dominated rookie QBs. In his tenure, they are 25-6 against rookies. Tomorrow they face off against a guy who looks to keep the hot streak going!
A game that people didn’t expect, featuring 2 QBs people didn’t see coming!
Yesterday, In a Nutshell
🏈 STUMPSET CITY! A few stumpsets to report from yesterday’s college football slate. Georgia Tech defeated (4) Miami, 28-23. You can’t live off of fourth-quarter comebacks and the shoe finally fell off for the Hurricanes! (16) Ole Miss got a defiant victory over (3) Georgia, 28-10. Virginia defeated (18) Pitt, 24-19.
🏀 The Cavs hosted the Brooklyn Nets and got the win, 105-100. They are now the 12th team in NBA history to start the season off 11-0, and the first to do so since the 2015-16 Warriors. That GSW team holds the record at 24 straight wins to start their season off!
🏈 (8) Indiana continues to roll! They defeated Michigan, 20-15, and moved to 10-0. With losses from a couple teams ahead of them in the Poll, you can only expect them to move up yet again as their unbeaten streak continues!
🏒 The Winnipeg Jets are now 14-1 to start the NHL season. They are the first team to WIN 14 of their first 15 games in NHL history! How about these streaks to start of the season!
