People Aren’t Talking Enough About…

🏈 The Elevator That Was Over-CHARGED⚡️ 

If you want to talk about a scene that started out as scary but turned into an absolute GRITFEST, look no further than Dallas, TX. (And no we’re not talking about the Ceedee Lamb contract debacle).

The Los Angeles Chargers are in Dallas for their Preseason game against the Cowboys today at 4:00 PM ET. Herbert seems to be looking good in practice, Harbaugh has gotten his feet wet again on an NFL sideline, things seem to be going well. That was until last night a number of Chargers players PACKED an elevator in the hotel.

That poor elevator did not have a clue what it had coming. It got stuck in a “blind shaft” with Chargers players inside. Dallas Fire & Rescue were quick onto the scene and they had to remove ceiling panels from the elevator which players then climbed out of one at a time.

WFAA.com reports that 15 people in total were involved in the incident. Thankfully everybody is now safe and ready for gameday today. Just picture that scene of NFL players one at a time crawling out of the ceiling. Absolute grit.

One thing is for certain, that elevator is gonna have a helluva story to tell its buddies tonight at the bar.

⛳️ Live from Colorado: Day Two PGA Tour

Yesterday we talked Keegan Bradley but today another guy on the bubble…ADAM SCOTT had an absolute day! He posted a 9-under to get to -13 and take a 3-stroke lead into the weekend. He now leads Bradley and has secured himself a final grouping spot for today.

The 44-year-old first played at Castle Pines at the age of 20! That was just a few months away from happening in 1999! He is one of the long-tenured members on TOUR and is trying to get back to where he once was.

After 36 holes, he has no doubt given himself a shot. But if you think the likes of Keegan Bradley and Ludvig Aberg are just going to give it to him, you’ve got another thing coming.

⚾️ Shohei Joins the 40-40 Club

Whether you’re a big baseball fan or you don’t know the difference between a ball and a strike, one thing to know is Shohei Ohtani. The guy is on an absolute tear right now. Last night he hit a walk-off GRAND SALAMI to notch his 40th HR of the season.

This goes along with his 40 stolen bases to make him the 6th player EVER to join the 40-40 club.

He is currently on pace to not join, but CREATE the 50-50 club! So I guess it’s official, for the rest of the season we are now on 50-50 watch!

🐺 Could UCONN be Making a Move to the Big 12?

First the headline and then the dissection…

“Big 12 presidents are scheduled next week to discuss potentially inviting UConn to the conference”

When it comes to this stuff there’s always a lot of ‘potentially’ and ‘maybe’. Here’s the big stuff. UConn has reannounced themselves as a POWERHOUSE after winning back-to-back National Championships🏀. This move would bring Both their basketball and football teams to the Big 12 in what would be a massive shake-up to the conference.

After rebuilding their BIG EAST rivalries, we could potentially maybe see another shakeup for the Huskies.
