⚾️ MJ Leaves The Diamond

After a three-peat on the court, Michael Jordan decided it was time to move to baseball. It seemed like his Basketball career could have been over.
It was OTD in 1994, MJ returned to basketball after his stint with the White Sox and their Double A team’s was over. He would go on to win another three-peat! Absurd!

🏀 We’ve got Four 1-Seeds in the Final Four

There’s two sides to every coin. At first, I feel as if the narrative was that there were no upsets in this tournament and that meant that it was a boring March. I get that take, and I maybe even agreed in the first two rounds, but now we are down to Four, and in theory, it is the exact way it should be. Is it fun when an NC State, or a Loyola Chicago makes it all the way, yes it absolutely is. But if you aren’t fired up for either of these two games you aren’t a fan of basketball.
We’ve got the four best teams in College Basketball left standing, and they all won in different ways. Houston with defense, Auburn with offense, Florida with late heroics, and Duke with everything. This teams are the first group of 1 seeds to make the Final Four since 2008. That was the only year ever that this happened.
We are in for absolute FIREWORKS in the Final Four. Buckle you seatbelt and get ready for some Final Four coverage this week!

🏀 Men’s Elite 8 Day Two
And then there were four…and would you believe it if I told you it was FOUR 1-Seeds! This is only the second time this is happening in Tournament history and the first time since 2008! The seedings were correct for sure!
Houston def. Tennessee, 69-50: Houston’s defense was the story of this game. When it started off 22-4 10 minutes into the game, we could see which team had come to play. It was an underwhelming performance for Tennessee who had looked so good coming into this bout! Houston’s defense vs Dukes offense in next weeks final four game will be amazing!
Auburn def. Michigan State, 70-64: The final 1-seed to advance was Auburn. The score may not seem like it, but they were easily in control throughout this game. Michigan State’s offense never really got going and they always seemed to be in a 10-point hole. Johni Broome ended with a game-high 25 points and 14 rebounds. They will now face off against Florida in another great matchup!
🏀 Women’s Elite 8!
South Carolina def. Duke, 54-50: The Gamecocks were the favorite heading into this game, and early it showed. They gained control and were keeping Duke at an arms length. Duke’s Toby Fournier and Ashlon Jackson (combined for 31 of their 50 points were keeping them afloat for as long as possible). South Carolina proved again why they are one of the best in the business with poise down the stretch! They move on to ANOTHER Final Four!
UCLA def. LSU, 72-65: After 1 quarter of play, LSU led this game 13-9. After this moment, it was all UCLA! They outscored the Tigers in the second quarter, 22-12. Flau’Jae Johnson is no doubt an electric ball player and she showed it for LSU with 28 points, 4 rebounds, and 4 assists. She was not enough for the multi-headed monster that was this UCLA team! The Lady Bruins advance to the Final Four!
⛳️ Update: MIN-WOO LEE COOKED!
Wow, this one was very very scary down the stretch for Min-Woo Lee. With just 9 holes to play, Lee held a monumental 5 stroke lead. It seemed all but over. Some struggles for himself combined with Scottie Scheffler magic brought this thing all the way to the very last putt from Lee. He drained it, and was able to secure his first ever win on the PGA Tour! An awesome day for all Min-Woo Lee fans, which honestly should be everybody, cause the guy is great! Congrats MWL!
