Yankee LEGEND Joe DiMaggio hit not one, not two, but THREE STRAIGHT HRs against the St. Louis Browns.
In a time that wasn’t known for the amount of bombs that were hit, Joe went to town with a bat in his hands!

STUMP STORY OF THE DAY✍️
Willy Robinson: Putting on the Superman Cape
Willy Robinson, a high school lacrosse player from Massachusetts at Scituate High School, is leading his team to the state finals with a heavy heart.
A march towards a state championship is every high school athletes dream. For Willy Robinson, the star player of the Scituate High School boy’s lacrosse team in Massachusetts, the road has been much less dream-like and more nightmarish.
Willy’s father, William, an assistant coach for the team, died unexpectedly at the age of 50 on June 6th. Willy needed his team around him more than anything. For a kid who probably has a million different thoughts going on in his head, he’s playing some profound lacrosse.
Willy played in the state quarterfinals, the day after his father passed, and score five goals in a win over Nashoba. This past Tuesday, he put the superman cape back on and scored six goals, including the walk-off winner in overtime over Falmouth.
On the season Robinson is up to 91 goals this year as well as 216 over his career, an outstanding number. Robinson goes into detail that the team has been a second family to him all season, and more now than ever. He praises how much the close-knit environment of the team has helped him through this process.
This isn’t the first tragedy this team has faced this year, either. In April, assistant coach Harold Gerb also passed away unexpectedly at the age of 31. The team has used the hashtags #wehavethewill and #doitforgerb on their social media all year long.
“This is what it’s all about,” head coach Mark Puzzangara said, “This team has been through hell and back. We’re hurting, there’s no question about it. And it’s coming together like this, it’s games like this, the community coming out, that helps ease the pain just a little bit.”
Robinson hitting the game winning shot and putting the team on his back is something out of a Hollywood script. In interviews, Willy will shrug it off, he says he’s been here before and he’s practiced for these moments. Willy is a stronger man than most, and he’s only 16. It’s probably a good thing he’s committed to play college lacrosse at West Point for the academy, because I’d go to war with this guy.
If any team deserves a state championship, it’s this one. This story is another reminder of how important sports, especially team sports, can be on a life. Who knows where Willy may be without his teammates picking him up. I hope we’re all blessed with a support system as great as Scituate.
Willy after scoring the game-winning goal: “It’s a beautiful thing. It feels crazy. He got me here. He’s smiling right now.”

Glue Guy of the Day
Defined: Glue Guy (Noun, Verb, Adj., etc.) - a person, thing, idea, or thought that holds together the larger group. Not the star, not the main character, but a hard hat and lunch pale type who knows its role. The GLUE of the group.
