🏀 Tracy McGrady Goes Off

Photo // NBA YouTube
One of the most dominant scorers of the 2000’s, Tracy McGrady scored his career-high points on this day in 2004.
On a night where the Orlando Magic took on the Washington Wizards, it was a guard show. Wizards star Gilbert Arenas dropped 40 points, but his strong performance was overshadowed by McGrady’s elite night. He scored 62 points, taking 37 total shots throughout the night. The Magic won 108-99.

IN MARCH, THERE IS MADNESS!
🏆️ The Stomping Ground Sports Bracket Challenge is LIVE!

What a day, what a day! The Stomping Ground Sports Bracket Challenge is officially LIVE! Click HERE to join the group now! Last year’s group had absolute FIREWORKS, and we’re ready to run it back this year…with a twist!
When the calendar flipped to March, everything changed. The wind started blowing a little more northward. The sun started shining with a certain glimmer. The seas were starting to get a little angry, dare I say…Mad. The only thing that really stayed the same was the fact that EVEN IN MARCH….Nobody. And I mean NOBODY. Was Out-Pizzaing the Hut.
You may ask ‘Why?’
Why did everything change to start March? It was for one reason and one reason only. March Madness!
Last year, at the end of three rounds, our bracket challenge was home to the 23RD BEST BRACKET IN THE WORLD! OUT OF MILLIONS! This year we are ready to do it again, with a twist.
This year, we’ve raised the bar, the winner of this year’s FREE Bracket Challenge will win $500!
Here’s the twist. You know us. We love our Glue Guys and Gals. What is the GLUE of a college campus? It’s the CLUBS! The groups who gather once a week at 7 PM and do something they love! So the winner of this year’s group will earn $250 for themselves and $250 for the club of their choice! It’s a WIN-WIN!
As someone great once said: “ASK NOT WHAT YOUR CLUB CAN DO FOR YOU. ASK WHAT YOU CAN DO FOR YOUR CLUB!”
You don’t even have to be in a club! For all of our alumni stumpers, we will give $250 to a club or charity of your choice!

🤑 Josh Allen Resets QB Market
What the Buffalo Bills have in Josh Allen is rare, QBs like him do not grow on trees. Yesterday, the Bills ensured that their generational QB will not be going anywhere anytime soon. The two sides agreed to a record-setting six-year, $330 million contract that includes $250 million in guaranteed money. It’s the largest guaranteed total given to an NFL player in the history of the league. Last season’s MVP cashes in.
💸 Garrett and Browns Kiss and Make Up
Myles Garrett strongarmed the Cleveland Browns this offseason by requesting a trade, almost forcing his way out of town. The Browns stuck to their guns, keeping the narrative the same, Myles Garrett isn’t going anywhere. Despite reports that the relationship was over, the Browns and Myles agreed to a record-breaking contract extension for a non-QB. Garrett signed a 4-year extension that averages $40 million per year and $123.5 million in guaranteed money. This keeps Garrett in Cleveland through 2030. The trade also includes a no-trade clause.
👋 Star WRs on the Move
The Pittsburgh Steelers have been looking for a true WR1 to be a staple on their roster since Antonio Brown left town, they now have one. The Seahawks sent their disgruntled star, DK Metcalf, to the Steelers for a 2025 second round pick. Upon the trade’s finalization, the two sides agreed to a five-year, $150 million extension to keep DK in black and gold for the foreseeable future. You may have missed this news in the craze of things like Garrett and Allen, but this is a big time move for the Steelers who desperately needed some star power at the WR position. In other news, Davante Adams got his wish to have his next team be on the west coast, as the Fresno State alumni signed a two-year deal with the Los Angeles Rams. This makes perfect sense for the two sides, as Adams wants to win and the Rams are looking to make a couple more pushes for a Super Bowl with Matt Stafford at QB.
